Port Orford is located on the southern Oregon coast 70 miles north of the California-Oregon border and about 260 miles south of Portland. It is accessible from coast highway 101 or from Oregon Highway 42 west from I-5 at Roseburg. Port Orford is a town of about 1200 people covering an area of almost 5000 acres.
